Dear Qualifier Participant;
As we approach Sunday, May 18 I just wanted to inform you of what to expect at the qualifier. The Qualifier is intended for those players who want to move up to the Adams Golf Junior Tour. Therefore, the event will be set up as an Adams Golf Junior Tour event, the age divisions and yardage will be reflective of Boys/Girls 16-19 and 11-15. In order to qualify for the Adams Golf Junior Tour individuals must meet or be lower than the predetermined target score. For those that qualify you will be invited to transfer your membership and compete on the Adams Golf Junior Tour.
Event Information
Tee times will be emailed and posted online one week prior to the event. Please make sure you are aware of your scheduled tee time. To find more information on the target score, registration, area hotels and more please view the link below.
At the Golf Course
Upon arrival at Forest Akers East GC please check in at our registration table where we will give you a range pass, local rules, and your official scorecard. Players will be given range balls for warm-up and then announced to the tee at the scheduled tee-time. Spectators are welcome however, we do have guidelines for them to follow. Please see the above link for compete details.
At the completion of your round
As you finish the 18th hole please go directly to the scoring tent. An official will be there to assist with any rulings that may have happened on the course and to take your scorecard.
What to do if you qualify for the Adams Golf Junior Tour
Players that meet the target score will be invited to move their membership to the Adams Golf Junior Tour. Notification of your desire via email will be needed for confirmation. Once your email is received that you are going to transfer your membership to the Adams Golf Junior Tour we will remove you from all your Meijer Junior Players Tour events and take any entry fees that had been paid and put on a credit balance for you to use towards the Adams Golf events. Please note that you may only play on one tour. To check tournament availability please visit the 2008 schedule on the Adams Tour and select the info listed next to each event. You will find availability under the header Online Registration.
Adams Golf Junior Tour tournament selection
Following the qualifier on May 18 all players that have contacted us by either email or fax will be issued a new id and password for the Adams Golf Junior Tour. Monday, May 19th at 12 noon your id and password will be emailed. At that time all Adams Tour events will be available as a first come first serve basis.
The approximate yardage each division can expect will be as follows:
Boys 16-19: 6600-6800
Girls 16-19: 5700-5900
Boys 11-15: 6200-6400
Girls 11-15: 5300-5500
